About linguistic resources in the Linked Data framework

In this talk I will present some aspects of the current state of the Linguistic Linked Open Data (LLOD) initiative. I will first briefly introduce the formal background needed to establish a Linked Data cloud, with a focus on the Resource Description Framework (RDF). This will be followed by the description of a de-facto standard for encoding linguistic resources in a Linked Data compliant fashion: The Ontolex-Lemon model, and some of its extensions. I will then also present some RDF-based linguistic vocabularies/ontologies, like LexInfo or OLiA, that are used in combination with OntoLex-Lemon. Finally, I will introduce some large lexical resources that are making use of (elements of) Ontolex-Lemon and related vocabularies, like the Open English WordNet, Wikidata or the Dictionnaire des francophones.
