Stellenausschreibung UCLAB<\/p>\n\n\n\n

F\u00fcr das Forschungs- und Digitalisierungsprojekt \u201eRestaging Fashion\u201c wird zum n\u00e4chstm\u00f6glichen Zeitpunkt ein\/e Akademische*r Mitarbeiter*in (w\/m\/d) im Umfang von 30 Wochenstunden (75%) befristet bis zum 30.11.2023 mit einem Hintergrund in (digitaler) Kunstgeschichte, Informatik oder Interaction Design gesucht.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Das Projekt ist am Urban Complexity Lab (UCLAB) der FHP angesiedelt und wird im Rahmen der Richtlinie des Bundesministeriums f\u00fcr Bildung und Forschung zur F\u00f6rderung von Forschungs- und Entwicklungsvorhaben zur Digitalisierung von Objekten des kulturellen Erbes \u2013 eHeritage (Bundesanzeiger, 13.05.2019) gef\u00f6rdert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Im Projekt \u201eRestaging Fashion. Digitale Kontextualisierung vestiment\u00e4rer Quellen\u201c werden Bildquellen und historische textile Ensembles digitalisiert, inhaltlich kontextualisiert und in einer digitalen Pr\u00e4sentation zusammengefasst, um die Kulturgeschichte von Kleidung, ihre Erscheinung und Zeichenhaftigkeit erfahrbar zu machen. Ausgangspunkt ist eine Gem\u00e4ldesammlung aus dem Besitz der Staatlichen Museen zu Berlin – Preu\u00dfischer Kulturbesitz (Lipperheidesche Kost\u00fcmbibliothek), die im Rahmen des Projektes digitalisiert und um Grafiken und Handzeichnungen sowie historisches Schriftgut erweitert wird. Diese Bild- und Schriftquellen sollen mit historischen Textilien aus dem Besitz des Germanischen Nationalmuseums N\u00fcrnberg (GNM) im Digitalen zusammengef\u00fchrt werden mit dem Ziel mittels 3D-Scans die Wiedergabe von historischer Kleidung zu erm\u00f6glichen und im Kontext erforschbar zu machen. Zur Pr\u00e4sentation und als Werkzeug der Interpretation werden standardisierte Verfahren der inhaltlichen Erschlie\u00dfung von Kulturdaten aus dem Semantic Web-Kontext eingesetzt sowie neuartige Methoden der digitalen Pr\u00e4sentation und Visualisierung, vor allem von 3D-Daten, entwickelt und erprobt. Im Rahmen des Projekts werden Ans\u00e4tze der dynamischen Informationsaufbereitung entwickelt und mittels nutzerzentrierter Prototypen eruiert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

* Ver\u00f6ffentlichung von Ergebnissen in Form akademischer Artikel und Vortr\u00e4gen auf Fachtagungen
* Konzeption eigener Forschungsprojekte auf dem Gebiet der Datenvisualisierung
* Aktive Teilnahme an interdisziplin\u00e4rer Forschung im UCLAB<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are looking for a researcher in the Restaging Fashion project with expertise in art history, computing, information science, and\/or interaction design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project \u201cRestaging Fashion. Digital contextualization of vestimentary sources\u201d is digitizing and contextualizing fashion images and textile artifacts in order to assemble these fashion sources in a digital presentation and to make the cultural history of clothing, its appearance and symbolism graspable. The starting point has been a collection of paintings owned by the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin – Prussian Cultural Heritage (Lipperheidesche Kost\u00fcmbibliothek), which has been digitized as part of the project and is being expanded to include graphics and hand drawings as well as historical written documents. These images and written sources are being digitally connected with historical textiles owned by the Germanisches Nationalmuseum N\u00fcrnberg (GNM) with the aim of enabling the reproduction of historical clothing by means of 3D scans and making them available in a research context. For the presentation and as a tool of interpretation, standardized methods for the content-related development of cultural data from the semantic web context are to be used. New types of digital presentation and visualization methods, especially of 3D data, are being developed and tested. As part of the project, approaches to dynamic information processing will be developed and determined using user-centered prototypes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*         Researching and connecting textual sources
*         Communication with project partners and users
*         Publication of results in form of academic articles and lectures at conferences
*         Conception of new research projects in the field of information visualization
*         Active participation in interdisciplinary research at UCLAB<\/p>\n\n\n\n
