It is co-located with the <a href=\"https:\/\/conference.timemachine.eu\/\">Time Machine Conference<\/a> 2019. The workshop is an international event for the professionals of multiple\ndisciplines and scholars working in the Digital Cultural Heritage domain. The\naim of the workshop is to bring together experts, stakeholders and researchers\nfrom the cultural domain, starting a dialogue that will lay out the foundation\nfor the creation of a multidisciplinary community of practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Urban history, drawing on architectural heritage and cultural history, is one of the key areas in digital humanities. Regarding to that research interest, digital libraries play an important role, especially for visual media like photographs, paintings, or drawings, but also for physical and digital 3D models. Due to the wide field of possible research, different approaches, methods and technologies have emerged \u2013 and are still emerging. We aim to discuss crucial challenges for further research and encourage debate on the state of the art and future work. We would like to invite contributions on theoretical and methodological issues, application scenarios and projects, as well as novel approaches and tools. This includes the following five areas<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Research on Architectural and Urban Cultural Heritage <\/li><li>Technologies, Computing and Data<\/li><li>Theory and Systematization<\/li><li>Education in Urban History <\/li><li>Infrastructures and Governance <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>To this cause, we are seeking for original and innovative contributions in\ntheoretical and practical applications on Digital Cultural Heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please submit an extended abstract of <strong>1500-1700\nwords<\/strong> in PDF format by <strong>June 30th, 2019<\/strong>\nvia the electronic upload submission procedure on <a href=\"https:\/\/easychair.org\/conferences\/?conf=uhdl2019\">EasyChair<\/a>. The conference adopts a double blind reviewing process. The authors must ensure\nthat any information such as affiliations, contact details, e-mails or other\ntype of information that can help identify the authors of the papers are\nremoved from the submitted version.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please use the Springer LaTeX2e, Microsoft Word 2003 or Microsoft Word 2007\ntemplates and guidelines for formatting your extended abstract.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All submissions will be peer reviewed for their originality, validity, methodology,\nwriting quality and overall contribution to the research fields of the\nconference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Proceedings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Selected submissions will be invited for journal publication.
