Modal pathways on the extra-long period of time: the diachrony of modality in the Latin language<\/i> funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (project no. PP00P1_176778).<\/p>\n<p>The team will consist of the PI and of a PhD student in addition to the postdoc. The main tasks of the postdoc researcher will be:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the development of suitable annotation schemes\n<li>the creation and development of a database and of its interface\n<li>the creation and maintenance of the website of the project\n<li>the annotation of Latin texts\n<li>the collaboration at various research activities connected with the project (publications and other ways of disseminating results)\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Your profile<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>PhD or equivalent qualification in Linguistics or Computer Science with a specialisation in Computational Linguistics or Corpus Linguistics. The candidate\u2019s PhD should have been completed no more than 5 years before the start date of the position (1st March 2019 or later).<\/p>\n<p>The ideal candidate should show an outstanding proficiency in the development of digital resources and their application to the study of linguistics.
